1. Information we collect

When you create a SideMeld account we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, profile photo and the football clubs, players and matches you create.

• Account data: email, display name, authentication provider.
• Club data: club names, member roles, invitations.
• Football data: players, ratings, attendance, match results, statistics.
• Usage data: basic analytics such as pages visited and features used.

2. How we use your information

• To provide the SideMeld service and personalise your experience.
• To operate matchdays, generate balanced squads and compute statistics.
• To communicate service updates and respond to support requests.
• To detect, prevent and address abuse or security incidents.

3. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Data within a club (players, attendance, statistics) is visible to that club's members and administrators. We share data with service providers strictly to run SideMeld (hosting, authentication, email delivery).

4. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual players, matches or your club at any time.

You can delete your account from inside the app at Settings → Account → Delete account. Deleting your account permanently removes your SideMeld login, your profile name and email address, your club memberships, uploaded profile photos, generated avatars and thumbnails, pending avatars, all archived avatar versions, and your avatar consent and provider records.

Completed matches, scores and team records may remain in your club's history, but only in anonymized form: the player name is replaced with “Former player”, and the account link, photos and avatars are removed. This keeps other members' historical results accurate. Account deletion is irreversible.

If you cannot access your account and therefore cannot use the in-app option, email support@unevo.ca.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. Contact us at support@unevo.ca and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

6. Security

SideMeld uses encrypted transport (HTTPS), managed authentication and role-based access control. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.

7. Children

SideMeld is not directed to children under 13. Youth football clubs should ensure a parent or guardian manages the account on their behalf.

8. Changes

We may update this policy over time. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email.
